Diwali in the Desert

Diwali in the Desert

Diwali in the Desert

Overview

You will have a fantastic experience during Diwali wherever you go in India. But the desert has a mysterious allure, particularly in the later months of the year when Rajasthan's weather is ideal for tourists.

In addition to a magnificent Camel ride, our team was created to provide a memorable festive experience in the desert by allowing you to see and observe a magnificent sunrise and an evening filled with diyas during Diwali, in addition to an incredible camel ride.

A small settlement serves as the starting point for this safari, from which you can board a camel and travel further into the desert. You can even spend the night in the village resting in cosy and comfortable bedding. Following the camel ride, you will also see the well-known Khaba Fort and a peaceful Natural Oasis that serves as a water source for various birds, animals, and residents.

Itinerary

Day 1.

Upon arriving in Jaisalmer, check in at the hotel, freshen up and set out for the Sam Sand Dunes by jeep. You will stop at Khaba and Natural Oasis en route to a nearby settlement. Upon arrival to the village, the locals will greet you with open arms. Here soon, you will get some refreshments and a welcome beverage. After a refreshment and interaction session with villagers, you are welcome to take part in the religious ceremony known as the Puja and light a few diyas.

You may watch fireworks after pooja. Seeing fireworks in the sky is a mesmerising view. After the fireworks session, get ready to taste some detectable regional food cooked by the villagers. This is one of the best foods you had in your life. If you want a more localised experience, you will stay in a house within the village.

Day 2.

The following morning, rise early and head for the sand dunes. As you travel through this area, you will see an amazing dawn. Then our wholesome camels and friendly guides will welcome you, and now one camel per person will be provided for a 90-minute ride through the desert. On reaching the dunes, you can embark on a solo exploration of the dunes if you want. After your solo ride (not mandatory), a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast will be delivered shortly. After a delicious breakfast, our representative will drop you at the scheduled location in Jaisalmer.
