Overview

Jaisalmer is not short on pomp and circumstance, but December brings Christmas celebrations and New Year's plans that are more festive, enjoyable, and joyous than those of other months. Christmas is one of those occasions that is brimming with magic and delight, and there is no better way to soak up this festive mood on Christmas Eve than by desert camping in the middle of Sam Sand Dunes, Jaisalmer, with the help of Jaisalmer And Around. You enjoy camel safari, jeep safari, cultural programs, and traditional food in the dunes.


Itinerary

Day 1.

Upon arriving in Jaisalmer, check in at the hotel, freshen up and set out for the Sam Sand Dunes by jeep. You will stop at Khaba Fort and Natural Oasis en route to a nearby settlement. Upon arrival to the village, the locals will greet you with open arms. Here soon, you will get some refreshments and a welcome beverage. And Now, one camel per person will be provided for a 90-minute ride through the desert. Amidst the dunes, you can witness the beautiful sunset with delicious snacks. After this relaxation session, you witness a mesmerising cultural program and a special christmas dinner. Watch the colourful fireworks in the open night sky when cultural programs are finished. 

Later, sit around the bonfire and enjoy the delicious traditional dinner with some music. When you finish your dinner, you will receive a christmas gift. Sleep under the stars in warm and cosy bedding in the middle of sand dunes. 

Day 2. 

On the 2nd day of the tour, wake up with the hypnotic sunrise view, and after breakfast, you can take a 90-minute camel ride through the desert if you want. Later check out from the Desert Camp, and our representative will drop you at the scheduled destination.
