Itinerary

Day 1. Jaisalmer Arrival - City Day Tour

Our tour guide will meet and greet you upon your arrival in Jaisalmer at The Golden City. Following a quick check-in, you will be picked up from your hotel for a full-day sightseeing tour of the city.

The escorting tour guide will take you to Sonar Fort, a well-known fort made of yellow sandstone. The prevalence of yellow causes it to be known as Sonar Kila. In the historical attractions of Jaisalmer, the journey is complete with the visit to the famous haveli. The five-story Patwa Haveli and Nathmal Haveli are famous examples of the wealth that earned Jaisalmer the title "Golden City." 

After lunch, your tour proceeds to the next attraction on the day tour of the city. Desert National Park and Gadisar Lake. Following the day excursion, you will be returned to the heritage hotel for an overnight stay.   

Day 2. Desert Camping Tour

After breakfast, you will depart for an exploration of Jaisalmer's local market. Lunch will be suggested based on your preferences. Following that, proceed to the most intriguing part of the tour. The abandoned Kuldhara community is a ruined site of a community formerly inhabited by local village people and a wealthy merchant class. It is also known as the Ghost Village of Jaisalmer due to the mysterious and ambiguous reasons for its abandonment. 

After the village visit, the safari ride will take you to the desert camping area. Your arrival will be welcomed traditionally, and following a relaxing tea/snack break, prepare to explore the dunes on the back of a camel. The camel ride in the dunes will last around an hour, and catching a glimpse of the setting sun is considered the most beautiful thing in Jaisalmer.

Return to the camping site after the camel safari, where a campfire-lit night awaits your arrival to greet you in a pleasant way of hospitality. Over time, the evening will become more beautiful. During the gala dinner, folk music and dance performances fill the air with the sounds of instruments.   

Your overnight stay will be organised with luxury tents, where you will spend a beautiful night beneath the stars.  

Day 3. Indo-Pakistan Border and Longewala War Museum visit 

You will be returned to Jaisalmer after a delicious breakfast. Before wrapping up this tour, another trip to Jaisalmer is planned. Tanot Mata Temple will be the first stop. This temple is well-known not just among villagers but also among army soldiers of all castes.

Following the temple tour in Jaisalmer, you will be guided and escorted to the International Border Post of India-Pakistan, managed and monitored by the Border Security Forces India(BSF). Witnessing a part of the 1000 km long border wall becomes a wonderful and unexpected experience for everyone watching from the watchtower. 

The journey continues with a Longewala Museum tour. You will be led to the museum site by an expert tour guide. This spot gives you shivers as the Pakistan Army's stationary tankers witness this valiantly fought conflict honouring India's win. Aircraft, tanks, an armoury, and many other key pieces are on exhibit, with an audio-visual gallery providing a thorough overview of its history.   

After the visit, you will be dropped off at the designated location.
